Sales manager Alice’s old customer introduced his friend and asked him to buy TITAN’s telescopic trailer. The customer trusts Alice very much and informs that the dryer needs to be transported. After confirming the configuration. The customer immediately bought the 10 axle telescopic trailer.

These can be used to transport both wind blades and the tower. This is the kind of trailer that you need if you want to handle the different kinds of loads in your operations. Its design and construction are meant to take care of these needs.
Its structure comprises: A Gooseneck, A steering mechanism, An extendable beam, The tail platform.
The goose-neck provides a connecting point of the trailer to the truck. It is designed to lift up and down to meet the different height of the 5th wheel of a truck. When the truck steers, goose-neck can pass the signal, and the trailer starts to steer.
The steering system includes a steering function for the rear axles to help telescopic trailer get through a curved road due to the 62 m length of the trailer.
There are three steering structure configurations namely: hydraulic bogies, turntable steering and axle steering.
The extendable beam feature is designed to allow for elongation to cater for different transportation needs. Due to the overall length of the trailer needed in this section, tough and strong materials with a yield strength of at least 460 MPa is used.
This makes sure that the beam doesn’t sag during operations. At this section, the trailer can be adjusted to the desired length to take up the task at hand.
The tail platform forms the rear section of the trailer. It can either be a folding or pulling platform configuration. Therefore, users can choose a telescopic trailer based on these tail platform configurations.

Trailer construction materials are chosen based on the amount of load it is expected to carry and the force acting on the bed during loading, transportation and offloading.
Other considerations include the size and dimensions in general. The telescopic trailer’s max length can be up to 62m, and a capacity of 30tons (when it is extended).
For that reason, the choice of material is very key in the manufacture of this kind of trailer.
We use Q460 material (with a yield strength of 460Mpa) to make the trailer. The choice has been made based on research and has been tested on various scenarios before being released into the market.
It has been proven on its reliability on many times especially in China where it has provided reliable results in taking different kinds of loads.
Construction has been made based on the characteristics of the material as tabulated below inclusive of safety factors. That gives the telescopic trailer enough strength to take up the specified weight and travel speeds during transportation.
